研究领域
博士、教授、博士生导师。湖北省力学学会秘书长、常务理事。
1996年毕业于南昌大学，获学士学位；随后入职江西长林机械集团公司从事产品研发；2000年考入华中科技大学读研究生，分别于2003年6月、2006年11月获得华中科技大学环境工程硕士学位和力学博士学位。2007年3月进入华中科技大学机械工程流动站从事博士后研究；2009年2月到华中科技大学力学系工作，11月被评为副教授。2016年9月至2017年8月以国家留学基金委全额资助访问学者在法国国家科学研究中心(CNRS)FEMTO-ST研究所进行合作研究。2020年9月进入华中科技大学航空航天学院，11月被评为教授。
承担主讲了《工程力学》、《复合材料力学》、《理论力学》、《流体力学》、《压电结构与器件》、《工程材料学》等本科生课程，和《智能材料与结构》研究生课程的教学。获得2019年全国徐芝纶力学优秀教师奖、2018～2019学年度华中科技大学课堂教学优质奖。中国大学资源共享课(2013~)、首批国家慕课课程《工程力学》（2017~）课程团队的重要成员。
